Nutrisculpt
February 2, 2010
Okay, now the second line that we’re gonna speak about today is Nutri-Sculpt. Nutri-Sculpt is the primary foundation styling line from Kerastase.
Mousse Nutri-Sculpt
And the first product that I wanna speak to you about is Mousse Nutri-Sculpt. And this particular product is great for clients from, with finer-textured hair, dry hair, or hair that’s just been you know, sensitized from color, heat, whatever. And with the Nutri-Sculpt product, uh, this is great to use as a foundation for styling. For instance, if you’re gonna blow dry and you want a nice amount of hold and some texture in the hair, you wanna use Nutri-Sculpt, and it comes in a mousse form.
Lait Nutri-Sculpt
Our second product is Lait Nutri-Sculpt. Now Lait Nutri-Sculpt is more of a cream, so it’s gonna add a little bit more moisture to the hair. It also has silicone in it to help smooth down the hair cuticle. And this I like to recommend to clients with drier hair texture, curly hair, wavy hair, who have to really kinda work out at a good blow out. So Lait Nutri-Sculpt is gonna be better for clients, like I said, with drier hair; as the Mousse Nutri-Sculpt is your best versatile styling product that we offer.
Crème Nutri-Sculpt
The next product after that is the Crème Nutri-Sculpt. Now this is great to use again, on towel-dried hair, but it also has the flexibility of being used on dry hair to add a little bit of uh, texture, separation; but without a hold of a pomade or a wax. Um, great for taming down the little fly-aways after a flat-iron or blow dry. Also helps to tame down um, any frizzies.
Serum Nutri-Sculpt
Now Serum Nutri-Sculpt is a really heave, concentrated ah, serum that is mainly just silicone. And that is great to use on clients, for instance, who like to flat-iron their hair and really like that really bone-straight, sleek look. Uh, you would use this product prior to flat-ironing when the hair is towel dried. And you would also use it again, at the very end of your styling. So once you’ve flat-ironed and you’re ready to go and step out the door, you pake a pump or two of this and run this through the ends of your hair.
Vernice Nutri-Sculpt
Um, after this we have the Vernice Nutri-Sculpt. Now this product is probably one of my favorites. Uh, this being because uh, you can use it with heat and it helps to enhance shine; and that’s all it really does. It’s not meant for holding um, or anything like that, it’s really meant to lock down the hair cuticle when you are flat-ironing or blow drying the hair. And it is heat activated, so with that being said, you could spray it on, run the flat-iron through, and your hair will look like glass. It is amazing.
Lumier Nutri-Sculpt
The other product that we have is the Lumiere Nutri-Sculpt. Now this one is great for the clients that tend to like the tousled look. Um, after you’ve done maybe a curling iron or even if your hair is curly and you’ve set it in rollers, after you take out the hair and you wanna comb through, what I suggest is that you put one to three pumps of this in your hand. Really make sure to emulsify well and break through the curls just running it slightly with your hands. Just running the hands through the hair, and it adds a lot of shine. It doesn’t cause the hair to become frizzy or poofy or anything like that. So Lumiere Nutri-Sculpt again, is just for finishing off a style, creating some definition and texture, but still allowing the hair to be touchable, which most women really appreciate.
Na Nutri-Sculpt
After that we have the Na Nutri-Sculpt, and this is one of our pomades, and this is meant to be used on dry hair. Uh, this is great for clients who tend to be going gray or silver, or are completely gray. It helps to minimize yellow in the hair, and brassiness being that it contains Abalone shell extracts in it. So this is also another product for especially a lot of my male clients that have that are gray. I tend to run this through their hair at the end of a serve, after I cut their hair, and it really helps to bring out the luster um, of the white and gray, and add dimension too, without leaving the hair looking flat.
So the, with that said, that is the end of the Nutri-Sculpt line.
